Rolls Royce Dawn 2016, a new convertible that is expected to be based on the Rolls Royce Wraith coupe will arrive at dealerships of the brand in the first quarter of next year.
"Our new Rolls Royce Dawn seductive promise a shocking encounter like no other Rolls Royce to date," said Torsten Müller-Otvos, CEO of Rolls Royce said in a statement.
"It will be the most social of super luxury cars, beautiful people for those who wish to bathe in the glow of the social hotspots of the world," he added. Prospective buyers can be the same as luxury convertible models, as the Bentley Continental GT Speed and the Aston Martin Vanquish Volante.
The new model of Rolls Royce convertible is inspired by a limited edition model that was sold from 1950-1954.
Rolls Royce dealers in the country could provide the first look at the new model during a conference distributors of Los Angeles. They have not yet revealed the specifications of the car, nor its price.
The old model of Rolls Royce Dawn was produced between 1949 and 1955; sales began in 1950. It was the first model of Rolls Royce offered a factory built body and shared its chassis with the Bentley Mark VI until 1952 and then cpm Bentley R type until production ended in 1955.
The vehicle was first introduced as a single model export. Models with LH had a change of gear in the column, while the units had a change right down near the door. Only 760 of these models were produced between 1949 and 1955.
